2017年公開の“A Dog’s Purpose”と言うアメリカ映画を見た際に描いた作品だ。ベイリーと言う犬が転生を繰り返しながら、様々な主人との出会いや別れを経験し、自分自身の人生の使命に気づいていくストーリーだ。誰しもがあると言われる使命。僕もある時、自分の使命はこれだと気づいた経験がある。それは、ある辛い経験をした時、僕の心の中で燃えていた火が消えかけそうになった。そんな時、周りの人たちが、愛という名の火種を分けてくれたお陰で、僕の心の火は消えることなく燃え続けることができた。僕が沢山の人からの愛で立ち直れたように、今度は僕が愛を必要としている人に分け与えたい。それが僕の使命なのではないかと思ったのだ。
この作品を通して、あなたの人生の意味とはなんなのか、一度考えてみてほしい。

베일리 어게인(A Dog’s Purpose)라는 영화에서 영감을 얻은 작품이다. 베일리라는 강아지가 여러 번의 환생을 통해서 나는 어떤 존재인지 환생의 이유를 깨닫는다. 나는 어머니의 죽음으로 상상 이상으로 많은 사람들의 위로와 진실된 마음을 받았다. 그때 내 안에 꺼질 것만 같았던 불씨가 많은 사람들의 사랑으로 유지될 수 있었다. 유지되는 것만으로도 큰 위안과 힘이 됐듯이 나의 불씨를 필요로 하는 누군가에게 나눠야겠다고 생각했다.
이처럼 이 작품을 통해 당신 삶의 이유는 무엇인지 생각해 보았으면 한다.

This piece was created after I saw the 2017 American film [[[“A Dog’s Purpose”]]]. It is the story of a dog named Bailey who is repeatedly reincarnated, meets and parts with a number of masters, and comes to realize her life’s mission.They say everyone has some mission in life. I, too, had an experience that made me realize my mission. It was a painful experience that almost extinguished the fire in my heart. But the people around me shared their love with me, and kept the fire in my heart alive. Just as I was able to recover with love from so many people, now I want to share love with those who need it. I feel that this is my mission.
